Hypersensitivity Solution


So here I was in my very own organic food shop. Surrounded by wholesome and healthy foods and now my experiments with my diet began. I was already vegan, so this already reduced my range of foods. However my symptoms were still there.

The shop was attracting like-minded staff and that alone became an education. Everyone of them had a different background and knowledge base.  I was introduced to the concept of raw food by a member of staff and some of their friends. The concept seemed so logical. Why cook food and remove all the nutritional value out of. It was about getting back to basics. Logic Logic Logic.

Aah! Even though it was logical it required a huge change once again in respect to meals, meals with family and friends. If I was worried that people already found me weird, then the weirdo was getting weirder. Joanne was no longer able to prepare my foods. It was too much to ask from her on top of everyone else’s meals. The shopping list grew and grew. More and more vegetables.

The quantity I had to eat was just massive in order for me not to turn to skin and bones. I was already edging in that direction. My body temperature was at rock bottom. I was having to wear layers and layers just to keep warm.

Even so this felt like a good move. Everything was wholesome, fresh, full of nutrients and enzymes. But as Joanne often referred I had become very light. Light in the sense of not being able to keep my feet on the ground.[to be continued…]
